Dr. Adam Lindsay is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine, Fracture care, and Shoulder Arthroplasty (Replacements). Originally from just outside South Lake Tahoe, CA, he was previously a Division 1 Water Polo player at UC Davis, and competed at the international level. He attended medical school at Drexel University in Philadelphia, and then completed his orthopedic surgical training at the University of Southern California one of the largest level 1 trauma centers on the West Coast. He received extensive training in the care of fractures, soft tissue injuries, and joint replacements.
After residency, he pursued a Sports Medicine fellowship at the University of Colorado, where he completed over 700 cases under the guidance of world-renowned orthopedists. It was there he honed skills in arthroscopy and shoulder arthroplasty (replacements), and developed a passion for complex knee, hip, and shoulder pathology. Additionally, he specializes in fracture care with considerable training in fracture care in athletes of all levels. He has published multiple book chapters, articles, and presented at national conferences on these topics.
Getting back to a pre-injury level of activity is often a long and tough process. Dr. Lindsay appreciates that having an approachable and invested surgical team is critical to a patients’ improvement. He is looking forward to providing for a thriving and growing community and could not be more honored to serve this area.
When not in clinic or the operating room, Dr. Lindsay can usually be found out on some adventure with his wife Rachelle, daughter Addison and dog Khione. He typically tries to mountain bike and ski (both on resort and backcountry) every chance he can get. His golf game is, currently, ok at best.
