Dr. Aaron Hoblet completed both undergraduate and medical studies in his native state at Ohio State University, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition prior to completing his medical degree. Upon graduation from medical school, he served as a physician in the United States Army stationed at Fort Lewis in Tacoma, WA where he finished his residency in Orthopedic Surgery. After five years of training at Madigan Army Medical Center, he was assigned to the Army hospital at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, where he served as Chief of Orthopedics, as well as spending a tour overseas as a surgeon in a remote corner of Afghanistan.

After serving in the Army, Dr. Hoblet attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and completed his fellowship training in hand surgery.

After a number of years away from the Northwest, Dr. Hoblet returns with great enthusiasm, choosing to join Desert Orthopedics in Bend. Dr. Hoblet, his wife and three young children enjoy exploring the beauty of Central Oregon while hiking, biking or paddling, and they all love to play in the snow.
